Fort Minor is at it again with their dramatic words and powerful rythms, strings and percussion to create key moods and tracks to this summer’s remake of the 80s hit movie, “The Karate Kid.”  Recorded and released in 2006, the track “Remember the Name” used by TNT extensively in its coverage of the NBA Playoffs.

We first cited this song’s driving sound and passionate lyrics in our feature on the Top 10 Greatest Motivational Songs.  Its use again in 2010’s Karate Kid are sure to give it more play and additional staying power.  The “kid” in us looks forward to this exciting, fun and teaching experience provided by Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith.  Watch the preview below and get ready for a summer of fun!
